About me

My name is Małgorzata Bielińska.

For many years I worked in a corporation and, although it was an important part of my life, over time I felt more and more strongly that my true path was creative work. A sensitivity to beauty, a love of aesthetics and the need to create would not let me stay behind a desk forever. At some point I decided to trust myself and give a chance to what I had long carried in my heart. I believe it is never too late to follow your passion, discover a new path and start building a life closer to yourself. Painting is my space of freedom, imagination and emotion. Sometimes it is enough to dare to take the first step.

I work in acrylic, oil and mixed media. Closest to my heart is expressive contemporary painting where abstraction, symbolism and surrealism meet. I love painting animals, nature and everything that holds magic, mystery and the extraordinary. I am fascinated by joining reality with the world of imagination, by making paintings full of colour, texture and detail.

I would like my paintings to be more than interior decoration. I want them to bring warmth, character and a touch of the extraordinary into a room — to catch the eye, to invite you to pause and discover further details. I believe art gives a space its personal character, so I paint works that can become more than an ornament: a small story, a source of emotion, part of a home you can identify with.
